Just thousands of silent voices crying

God bless us all during this dark time and the future

I had learned last night on what had happened. I am sad to learn that innocent lives were lost because of  these mad men who want to exact revenge or want to make a statement that they can brought America down to its knees.

They never realized that  such a barbaric act will never be tolerated in our age. One way or another justice will be served.

While watching the CNN last night, we saw the horrorful events unfolding. Our heart goes to those who were trapped in the upper floors of the WTC as well as the passengers of the planes which were hijacked by those mad men. Some of the victims were forced to jumped down to their deaths. No words can describe our sorrow and sympthy to those people and their families. We are consoled in our belief that the Lord took them away earlier because they are good men and women.

We pray that the good Lord allowed this to happen because of a greater purpose which we cannot foresee as humans.

We will continue to pray for peace not only for America but also for the whole world.

God bless

I live in upstate SC and am a paramedic/firefighter.  I awoke to the news yesterday morning of the first impact at the WTC.  I watched in confident horror as the fire burned the top of the building.  I knew my "brother" firefighters were on the job.  High rise fires are a bad situation but they are prepared in NY.  Then the second impact.  The man-power must have been stretched thin.  I began to pray for the victims and the rescuers; for God to keep them calm so everyone would have a chance.  Then, the unimaginable.  The two towers collapsed.  I was watching live TV shots when it happened.  I knew immediately what had happened.  Many paniced victims trapped in the buildings and the rescuers in and around the towers didn't have a chance.  The families of the victims have the sympathy and prayers of me and my family.(Three firefighters and two paramedics)  And to our brother and sisters in the fire service that are lost..... we love you.  You did all that you could and God knows that.  We'll see you in Heaven.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia and this tragedy has effected the entire World...we in the USA take for granted the rights and freedoms that we do have until something like this reminds us all how lucky we are to be here...Live is too short and this kind of thing could happen anytime, anywhere, to anyone.  My thoughts go out to those who are directly involved and to ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE, that we need to stop the maddness.  I am not a Political minded person, but believe that our leaders will take care of this situation and let the entire World know THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN THE USA or ANY COUNTRY.   God Bless

Like everyone else around the world, I would like to express my deepest deepest most heartfelt sympathies to every single individual  affected in any way by this absolutely horrific tragedy.  Everyone involved in this tragedy are TRUE HERO'S.  Even if most of the victims, as average as you and I, just doing what we all do everyday, going to work and simply earning our living.  I can't even begin to find the words to express the sorrow and sadness that I am feeling.  As a fellow New Yorker, this really hits home for me and I just can' t get the images of destruction and devastation that these poor people experienced.  TRUE BRAVE HERO'S!!  What we need to do now, is not take our lives for granted.  We need to get back to basics and be so very grateful for what we have...our health, our families, friends, our safety, our fellow good American citizens and our friends and allies around the world.

What a wonderful memorial site.  Living in Sask. Canada, so far from the disaster has left its mark as well and will be remembered forever.  It is just terrible and there are no words to describe the horror I felt for all those innocent ppl's lives lost, and all those ppl dancing and singing in the streets in celebration.  It amazes me to no end the cowardness of the man that purpetrated this attack, the faceless man.
I am so sorry to any one that has been directly affected by this tragedy.  My heart and my familes hearts all go out to the thousands of ppl that have lost family members.  I will pray to God tonight for all of you.

Today is a day that will not be forgotten and will be etched in my mind along with others for the many many years to come.

I give my sincere sympathies to those who have been injured, killed, or effected in any sort of way. What happened was cowardly and disgusting, and I have no way of discribing how angry and frustrated over something like this.

I cried and had a hard time coping with this and I will allways remember seeing those two towers collapse.

Damn those fools, damn them to hell.

I'd like to offer my sympathies, for all they mean. In light of today's horrible events I'd like to think that at least people might recognize the value of human life a little more.

Firstly, I would like to thank people for taking the time to view this site. I am trying put together this memorial so all can remember those that have perished in this disaster. I work in NYC and I was in the ruckus in the streets. Although I am a good distance from the disaster, it hit closely. As I stood on 6th Ave looking south, all I could think of was how helpless those people were and how cruel the perpetrator is. As I watched the South tower crumble, I had to return to my office. However it had not hit me what had happened. It was'nt until I returned to my office on 7th that it finally hit me. As I looked to the skies I saw fighter jets circling over and that is when reality set it. This nightmare is not over and it had just begun.
